Mikheil Kalatozishvili ((グルジア語:მიხეილ კალატოზიშვილი); (ロシア語:Михаил Георгиевич Калатозишвили); 19 May 1959 – 12 October 2009)〔http://www.rg.ru/2009/10/12/kalatozishvili.html (Russian)〕 〔(Film Director Mikheil Kalatozishvili Dies of Heart Attack )〕 was a Georgian-Russian film director, producer, and screenwriter active since the early 1980s.〔http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0435564/〕 His grandfather was the world famous Soviet filmmaker of the same name, often known as Mikhail Kalatozov. Like his father, Kalatozishvili was born in Tbilisi and died in Moscow.
